Dawning

Spilling along the horizon;
Radiating across the earth;
Casting off the blanket of darkness;
Stirring colors from their gray slumber;
Reminding the world of how it is to be;
Speaking forth the promise.
Behold the breaking dawn:
The dawn of a new day.
