Persistence is her name (a poem)

You don’t have to pretend

  to be more 

  than you already are. 

Your you is enough. 

  The imperfections

    you hide,

     the ones from which you run,

     are part of what makes you

beautiful.

  You are

you.

    Dwell

    there.

  Embrace

your youness. 

  Rest in the

acceptance

  you’ll find.
