Empathy - 

running the risk

of seeing the world

from another’s point of view,

of imagining what it might be like

to be there instead of here,

of feeling the way

someone else feels,

of knowing your perspective

is not the only one.

Empathy is

what makes us human.

Empathy is

what brings us closer to the divine.

Empathy is

the way to a better us.
